ACCESSING PULMONARY REHABILITATION

Pulmonary rehabilitation is organised differently across many parts of the world. It is therefore important to speak with a healthcare professional in your hospital or community to learn about the situation that applies to your area. Physiotherapists, doctors and respiratory nurses are typically well placed to help you.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is appropriate for some people with bronchiectasis, who are experiencing shortness of breath on exertion. Some programs may have slightly different criteria and processes for referral, but these will be discussed with you if relevant.
